Introduction to PRINCE2

Scope

This Introduction course provides a broad overview of the PRINCE2 project management method and examines the scope of the method. The course is complete in itself and can be used as a basis for more detailed study of the PRINCE2 method through other courses.

Objectives

The objectives of this course are:

To understand why projects need to be managed differently from the operations of the organisation
To understand the four PRINCE2 integrated elements of Principles, Themes, Processes and Tailoring
